ความเป็นมาและสรุปการดำเนินงานของ
มูลนิธิร่วมจิตต์น้อมเกล้าฯ เพื่อเยาวชน ในพระบรมราชินูปถัมภ์ การก่อตั้งมูลนิธิฯ มูลนิธิร่วมจิตต์น้อมเกล้าฯ เพื่อเยาวชน ในพระบรมราชินูปถัมภ์ ก่อตั้งเมื่อปี ๒๕๒๕ ในวโรกาสสมโภชกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ ๒๐๐ ปี โดยสมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ ทรงเป็นประธานก่อตั้งมูลนิธิฯ ตามคำกราบทูลเชิญของหม่อมงามจิตต์ บุรฉัตร บุคคลสำคัญของโลก ผู้ประสานการก่อตั้ง ด้วยความร่วมมือขององค์การเอกชนที่สำคัญ ๑๐ องค์การ คือ สมาคมสภาสังคมสงเคราะห์แห่งประเทศไทยฯ สภาสมาคมสตรีแห่งชาติฯ สภายุวพุทธิกสมาคมแห่งชาติฯ สภาผู้ปกครองและครูแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานลูกเสือแห่งชาติ คุรุสภา สันนิบาตมูลนิธิแห่งประเทศไทยฯ พุทธสมาคมแห่งประเทศไทยฯ ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการลูกเสือชาวบ้านฯ และ ชมรมลูกเสือชาวบ้านกรุงเทพมหานคร วัตถุประสงค์ของการก่อตั้งมูลนิธิฯ เพื่อแสดงความจงรักภักดี และกตเวทิตาคุณถวายแด่ สมเด็จบูรพมหากษัตริยาธิราชเจ้า ทุกพระองค์ และแสดงความกตัญญูต่อบรรพบุรุษของเราผู้เสียสละเลือดเนื้อและชีวิต สร้างความเป็นปึกแผ่น และพัฒนาประเทศสืบต่อมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน ด้วยการร่วมแรงร่วมใจกันพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตให้แก่เยาวชนผู้ด้อยโอกาสทั่วประเทศ โดยให้ทุนการศึกษาอบรมอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งในด้านความรู้และคุณธรรม เพื่อให้เยาวชนเจริญเติบโตเป็นพลเมืองดีของชาติ รู้จักบำเพ็ญตนให้เป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้อื่น และสังคม มีความจงรักภักดีต่อชาติ ศาสนา และพระมหากษัตริย์ ซึ่งคุณธรรมล้ำค่าดังกล่าว คู่ควรแก่การที่จะได้มีการปลูกฝังไว้ในสายเลือดของเยาวชนไทยทุกคนสืบไป โดยคณะกรรมการสมโภชกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ ซึ่งมีนายกรัฐมนตรี เป็นประธาน ได้มอบให้กระทรวงมหาดไทย และกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ เป็นเจ้าของเรื่อง การดำเนินงานของมูลนิธิฯ ในปัจจุบัน มูลนิธิฯ ได้ให้ความสำคัญในการพัฒนาเยาวชนของชาติ โดยให้เยาวชนมีการพัฒนาที่สมบูรณ์ทุกด้าน โดยเฉพาะในด้านจิตใจ ศาสนา ศีลธรรม คุณธรรม จริยธรรม ต้องการให้เยาวชนรู้สึกอบอุ่น ไม่อ้างว้างท้อถอย หรือหมดหวัง จึงจัดให้เยาวชนได้มีท่านเจ้าของกองทุนเป็นรายบุคคล โดยมูลนิธิฯ เป็นผู้ประสานสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง ท่านเจ้าของกองทุนกับเยาวชนผู้รับทุน คือมูลนิธิฯ จัดส่งข้อมูลให้ท่านเจ้าของกองทุนได้ทราบถึงประวัติพื้นฐาน ความเป็นอยู่ของเยาวชนตลอดจนผลการพิจารณา ของคณะกรรมการแต่ละระดับ ในการคัดเลือกเยาวชนเข้ารับทุน และรายงานผลการเรียน รวมทั้งการพัฒนาทุกด้านของเยาวชนให้ทราบในแต่ละปีการศึกษา สำหรับเยาวชนจะได้ทราบนามของท่านเจ้าของกองทุน และได้รับการอบรมให้รู้คุณค่าในความเมตตาของท่านเจ้าของกองทุน รู้จักแสดงกตเวทิตาคุณต่อผู้มีพระคุณด้วยการตั้งใจเรียน ประพฤติตนเป็นคนดี และติดต่อกับผู้อุปการคุณทางจดหมายหรือส่งบัตรอวยพรให้ในโอกาสต่างๆ เป็นต้น ประธานที่ปรึกษา-ประธานกรรมการมูลนิธิ-ประธานระดับจังหวัด สมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจ้า กรมสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ทรงเป็นประธานที่ปรึกษามูลนิธิฯ สมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ ทรงเป็นประธานก่อตั้งและประธานกิตติมศักดิ์มูลนิธิฯ หม่อมงามจิตต์ บุรฉัตร บุคคลสำคัญของโลก เป็นประธานกรรมการดำเนินงานคนแรก ศ.ดร.ก่อ สวัสดิ์พาณิชย์ เป็นประธานกรรมการอำนวยการคนแรก พระวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าสุทธสิริโสภา และพระวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าวิมลฉัตร ทรงเป็นอดีตประธานกรรมการอำนวยการ และอดีตประธานกรรมการดำเนินงาน ปัจจุบันพระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี กรมหมื่นสุทธนารีนาถ ทรงเป็นประธานกรรมการอำนวยการ ตั้งแต่ปี ๒๕๕๓ และคุณหญิงแสงเดือน ณ นคร เป็นประธานกรรมการดำเนินงาน ตั้งแต่ปี ๒๕๖๔ นอกจากนี้ประธานแม่บ้านมหาดไทยจังหวัด (ภริยาผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัด) ในฐานะประธานคณะกรรมการอุปการะเยาวชนประจำจังหวัดของมูลนิธิฯ และภริยาผู้ว่าราชการกรุงเทพมหานคร ในฐานะประธานคณะกรรมการอุปการะเยาวชนประจำกรุงเทพมหานคร ได้ออกไปเยี่ยมเยียนติดตามดูแลทุกข์สุขของเยาวชนด้วยจิตใจที่เปี่ยมด้วยเมตตาธรรม ช่วยแก้ไขปัญหาต่างๆ ของเยาวชนและครอบครัวผู้รับทุนมูลนิธิฯ อย่างใกล้ชิดด้วย ซึ่งเยาวชนเหล่านี้เป็นผู้ด้อยโอกาส และขาดแคลนอันจะเป็นผลให้เยาวชนรู้สึกอบอุ่น ไม่โดดเดี่ยว เป็นการส่งเสริมสถาบันครอบครัวให้เข้มแข็ง และเป็นการสกัดกั้นต้นเหตุแห่งปัญหายาเสพติด ในกลุ่มเยาวชนผู้ด้อยประสบการณ์ชีวิตได้อย่างดีที่สุด มูลนิธิฯ มุ่งมั่นพัฒนาเยาวชนโดยการให้ทุนการศึกษาอบรมคุณธรรมอย่างต่อเนื่องแก่เยาวชนผู้ด้อยโอกาส ทุกอำเภอ ทุกสังกัด ทุกระดับการศึกษาทั่วประเทศ ในระยะแรกแห่งการก่อตั้งมูลนิธิฯ จำนวน ๒๕๒๕ ทุน เป็นเงินปีละ ๕ ล้านบาท โดยในปีการศึกษา ๒๕๖๔ มูลนิธิฯ ได้ให้ทุนการศึกษาแก่เยาวชนทั้งสิ้น ๒,๗๐๐ ทุน เป็นเงินประมาณ ๑๐ ล้านบาท ปัจจุบันมูลนิธิฯได้ให้ทุนการศึกษาอบรมแก่เยาวชนตั้งแต่เริ่มก่อตั้งมูลนิธิฯ ไปแล้ว รวมทั้งสิ้นกว่า ๓๒,๐๐๐ ทุน เป็นเงินทุนทั้งสิ้นกว่า ๒๕๒ ล้านบาท จัดกิจกรรมพิเศษในมหามงคลวโรกาสสำคัญ เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติเผยแพร่พระเกียรติคุณ และถวายเป็นพระราชกุศล - พระกุศลตลอดมา รวมทั้งจัดกิจกรรมในโอกาสสำคัญ อาทิ จัดเทศน์มหาชาติมหากุศลเฉลิมพระเกียรติถวายพระราชกุศลพร้อมกันทุกจังหวัด ในวโรกาสที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร ทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษา ๘๐ พรรษา ๕ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๐ ในกรุงเทพฯ จัด ณ พระอุโบสถวัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดาราม ในพระบรมมหาราชวัง ระหว่างวันที่ ๑๒ - ๑๕ ธันวาคม ๒๕๔๙ โดยได้รับพระมหากรุณาธิคุณจาก พระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ ๕ พระองค์ เสด็จฯ ทรงเป็นประธานทุกวัน ด้วยความสนับสนุนของกระทรวงมหาดไทย และกรุงเทพมหานคร และจัดพิมพ์หนังสือที่ระลึก พร้อมเนื้อความโดยย่อ และภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนัง จำนวน ๔ แสนเล่ม มอบให้ทุกจังหวัด และบริษัทดั๊บเบิ้ล เอ (๑๙๙๑) จำกัด (มหาชน) สนับสนุนกระดาษในการจัดพิมพ์หนังสือฯ โดย พลเอกเปรม ติณสูลานนท์ ประธานองคมนตรีและรัฐบุรุษ ประธานจัดงาน ได้นำคณะกรรมการเข้าเฝ้าทูลเกล้าฯ ถวายเงินที่ได้จากการรวมพลังศรัทธาจากประชาชนทั้งประเทศ จำนวนกว่า ๓๙ ล้านบาท แด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร ณ พระตำหนักจิตรลดารโหฐาน เพื่อโดยเสด็จพระราชกุศลตามพระราชอัธยาศัย พร้อมทั้งหนังสือสรุปการจัดงาน จัดเจริญพระปริตรมหากุศลเฉลิมพระเกียรติถวายพระราชกุศลแด่ พระบาทสมเด็จ พระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร เนื่องในโอกาสพระราชพิธีมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา ๗ รอบ๕ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๔ ในกรุงเทพฯ จัด ณ พระอุโบสถวัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดาราม ในพระบรมมหาราชวัง โดยนิมนต์พระสงฆ์ จำนวน ๘๕ รูป เมื่อวันที่ ๒๕ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๔ ได้รับ พระกรุณาคุณจาก พระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี กรมหมื่นสุทธนารีนาถ ประธานมูลนิธิฯ ทรงเป็นประธานจัดงาน และทรงเป็นประธานในพิธี กระทรวงมหาดไทย สนับสนุนการจัดงาน พร้อมกันทุกจังหวัด และได้จัดพิมพ์หนังสือที่ระลึกพร้อมบทสวดพระปริตร จำนวน ๒ แสนเล่ม มอบให้ทุกจังหวัด (กระทรวงมหาดไทย อุปถัมภ์การจัดพิมพ์ และบริษัทดั๊บเบิ้ล เอ (๑๙๙๑) จำกัด (มหาชน) สนับสนุนกระดาษในการจัดพิมพ์หนังสือ โดย องค์ประธานได้ทรงนำเงินที่มีผู้บริจาคจากทุกจังหวัด จำนวน ๔.๗ ล้านบาท ทูลเกล้าฯ ถวายพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร เพื่อโดยเสด็จพระราชกุศลตามพระราชอัธยาศัย พร้อมทั้งหนังสือสรุปการจัดงาน จัดงานถวายพระราชกุศลแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง พร้อมกัน ดังนี้ ๑) จัดพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ถวายพระราชกุศล เริ่มตั้งแต่เดือนธันวาคม ๒๕๕๕ ถึง เดือนธันวาคม ๒๕๕๖ รวม ๑๓ ครั้ง โดยนิมนต์พระสงฆ์ครั้งละ ๙๙ รูป ประกอบพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ (เป็นเวลาประมาณ ๑ ชั่วโมง) ทุกวันขึ้น ๙ ค่ำ เวลาประมาณ ๐๕.๓๐ น. (ก่อนอรุณรุ่ง) ในพระอุโบสถ พระอารามหลวงประจำรัชกาลในสมเด็จบูรพมหากษัตริยาธิราชเจ้าทุกพระองค์ เพื่อน้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณที่ทรงมีต่อประเทศชาติเป็นอเนกอนันต์ และในพระอารามสำคัญ ๑๑ แห่ง ในกรุงเทพมหานคร ด้วยความสนับสนุนของกองทัพอากาศ และจัดพร้อมกันทุกจังหวัดในครั้งที่ ๔ เดือนมีนาคม ๒๕๕๖ ด้วยความสนับสนุนของกระทรวงมหาดไทย พร้อมทั้งจัดพิมพ์หนังสือสรุปการจัดงาน จำนวน ๖,๐๐๐ เล่ม โดยองค์ประธาน ทรงนำเงินที่มีผู้บริจาคทุกจังหวัด จำนวน ๕.๑ ล้านบาท ทูลเกล้าฯ ถวายพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร เพื่อโดยเสด็จ พระราชกุศล ตามพระราชอัธยาศัย พร้อมทั้งหนังสือสรุปการจัดงาน ๒) จัดเจริญพระปริตรมหากุศลเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ถวายพระราชกุศลแด่ พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร เนื่องในโอกาสการจัดงานฉลองสิริราชสมบัติครบ ๗๐ ปี และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง เนื่องในโอกาสพระราชพิธีมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา ๗ รอบ ๑๒ สิงหาคม ๒๕๕๙ โดยนิมนต์พระสงฆ์ จำนวน ๙๐ รูป ประกอบพิธี เมื่อวันที่ ๕ สิงหาคม ๒๕๕๙ ณ พระอุโบสถวัดเทพศิรินทราวาส ราชวรวิหาร ได้รับ พระกรุณาคุณจากพระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี กรมหมื่นสุทธนารีนาถ ประธานมูลนิธิฯ ทรงเป็นประธานในพิธี ได้รับความอุปถัมภ์การจัดงานจากท่านเจ้าประคุณสมเด็จพระธีรญาณมุนี เจ้าอาวาส วัดเทพศิรินทราวาส ราชวรวิหาร และจัดพิมพ์หนังสือที่ระลึกพร้อมบทสวดพระปริตร จำนวน ๒,๐๐๐ เล่ม ด้วยความสนับสนุนของกระทรวงมหาดไทย จัดพิมพ์หนังสือ “พระมหากษัตริย์ยอดกตัญญู” จำนวน ๖๔ ครั้ง จำนวน ๑,๖๘๑,๙๙๘ เล่ม (หนึ่งล้านหกแสนแปดหมื่นหนึ่งพันเก้าร้อยเก้าสิบแปดเล่ม) ปี ๒๕๔๙ - ๒๕๖๐ จัดเจริญพระปริตรมหากุศลเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ในวโรกาสที่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษา ๘๐ พรรษา ในปี ๒๕๕๕ เมื่อวันที่ ๓๑ สิงหาคม ๒๕๕๕ ณ พระอุโบสถวัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดาราม ในพระบรมมหาราชวัง โดยนิมนต์พระสงฆ์ จำนวน ๘๑ รูป ได้รับพระกรุณาคุณจากพระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี กรมหมื่น สุทธนารีนาถ ประธานมูลนิธิฯ ทรงเป็นประธานในพิธี และจัดพิมพ์หนังสือที่ระลึกพร้อมบทสวด พระปริตร และภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนัง จำนวน ๕,๐๐๐ เล่ม จัดเจริญพระพุทธมนต์มหาสันติงหลวง (อุปปาตะสันติ) ถวายพระราชกุศล ๒ ครั้ง ๑) เนื่องในวโรกาสที่ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษา ๖๐ พรรษา ในปี ๒๕๕๕ เมื่อวันที่๓๐กรกฎาคม ๒๕๕๕ ณ พระอุโบสถวัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดาราม ในพระบรมมหาราชวัง โดยนิมนต์พระสงฆ์ จำนวน ๖๑ รูป ได้รับพระกรุณาคุณจากพระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี กรมหมื่นสุทธนารีนาถ ประธานมูลนิธิฯ ทรงเป็นประธานในพิธี และจัดพิมพ์หนังสือ ที่ระลึกพร้อมบทสวดมหาสันติงหลวง จำนวน ๓,๖๐๐ เล่ม ๒) เนื่องในโอกาสฉลองพระชนมายุ ๕ รอบ ๒ เมษายน ๒๕๕๘ สมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจ้า กรมสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เมื่อวันที่ ๒๔ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๘ ณ พระอุโบสถ วัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดาราม ในพระบรมมหาราชวัง โดยนิมนต์พระสงฆ์ จำนวน ๖๑ รูป ได้รับพระกรุณาคุณจากพระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี กรมหมื่นสุทธนารีนาถ ประธานมูลนิธิฯ ทรงเป็นประธาน ในพิธี และจัดพิมพ์หนังสือที่ระลึกพร้อมบทสวดมหาสันติงหลวง จำนวน ๒,๕๐๐ เล่ม - จัดทำโครงการสมทบกองทุนเผยแผ่พระไตรปิฎกสากลในสมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ ร่วมกับกองทุนสนทนาธัมม์นำสุขท่านผู้หญิง ม.ล.มณีรัตน์ บุนนาค ในพระสังฆราชูปถัมภ์ สมเด็จพระญาณสังวร สมเด็จพระสังฆราช สกลมหาสังฆปริณายก - จัดเทศน์มหาชาติมหากุศลถวายพระกุศล เนื่องในโอกาส ๑ ทศวรรษเสด็จสู่สวรรคาลัย สมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ ประธานก่อตั้ง และประธานกิตติมศักดิ์มูลนิธิฯ ณ พระอุโบสถวัดเทพศิรินทราวาส ราชวรวิหาร ได้รับพระกรุณาคุณจาก พระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอพระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี กรมหมื่นสุทธนารีนาถ ประธานมูลนิธิฯ ทรงเป็น ประธานในพิธี และจัดพิมพ์หนังสือที่ระลึกประกอบด้วย เนื้อความเทศน์ มหาชาติโดย ภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนัง และภาพพระกรณียกิจในมูลนิธิฯ จำนวน ๑,๐๐๐ เล่ม - จัดพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์เจริญพระสิริสวัสดิ์พิพัฒนมงคล เนื่องในโอกาสที่พระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี กรมหมื่นสุทธนารีนาถ องค์ประธานมูลนิธิฯ ทรงเจริญพระชันษา ๖๒ ปี ในปี ๒๕๖๒ ณ พระวิหารวัดราชบพิธสถิตมหาสีมาราม ราชวรวิหาร จัดบรรพชาเยาวชนผู้รับทุนมูลนิธิฯ จากจังหวัดต่างๆ ด้วยความสนับสนุนของวัดพระปฐมเจดีย์ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครปฐม จัดงานร่วมใจทอดผ้าป่ามหากุศลด้วยความสนับสนุนของวัดไร่ขิง และวัดพระปฐมเจดีย์ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครปฐม - จัดสร้างอาคารเรียนสำหรับสามเณร ด้วยความสนับสนุนของสำนักงานสลากกินแบ่งรัฐบาล - จัดสร้าง “อาคารปฏิบัติธรรมเฉลิมพระเกียรติ” ด้วยความสนับสนุนของกระทรวงมหาดไทย - จัดไถ่ชีวิตโค - กระบือตามโครงการพระราชดำริธนาคารโค - กระบือ เพื่อการเกษตร (ธคก.) -จัดปฏิบัติธรรมเยาวชนผู้รับทุนมูลนิธิฯ ทั่วประเทศด้วยความสนับสนุนของวัดเทพประทานอำเภอสอยดาว จังหวัดจันทบุรี และ บริษัท ขนส่ง จำกัด - จัดทัศนศึกษาเยาวชนผู้รับทุนมูลนิธิฯ ร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยอัสสัมชัญ - จัดงานวันร่วมจิตต์เสริมพลังใจให้เยาวชน ร่วมกับ กรุงเทพมหานคร และ กระทรวงมหาดไทย - จัดเดินการกุศล“ก้าวนี้เพื่อน้อง”ด้วยความสนับสนุนของมหาวิทยาลัยอัสสัมชัญ และสมาพันธ์ สมาคมศิษย์เก่าคณะเซนต์คาเบรียลแห่งประเทศไทย - เผยแพร่เกียรติคุณหม่อมงามจิตต์ บุรฉัตร บุคคลสำคัญของโลก - ร่วมจัดงานฉลองครบ ๑๐๐ ปี ชาตกาล หม่อมงามจิตต์ บุรฉัตร ในโอกาสที่ยูเนสโก ประกาศยกย่องให้เป็นบุคคลสำคัญของโลก ปี ๒๕๕๘ ตามข้อเสนอของมูลนิธิอนุสรณ์หม่อมงามจิตต์ บุรฉัตร เมื่อเดือนมิถุนายน ๒๕๕๘ ณ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และหอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร ในฐานะที่หม่อมงามจิตต์ บุรฉัตร บุคคลสำคัญของโลก เป็นผู้ประสานการก่อตั้งมูลนิธิร่วมจิตต์น้อมเกล้าฯ และเป็นประธานกรรมการดำเนินงานมูลนิธิฯ คนแรก ด้วยความสนับสนุนของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ กระทรวงมหาดไทย กรุงเทพมหานคร และกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ ข้อมูล ณ มกราคม ๒๕๖๖


History of Ruamchit Normklao Foundation :
	Ruamchit Normklao Foundation (for Children and Youth) under Her Majesty’s Royal Patronage was setup in B.E. 2525 (1982) on the auspicious occasion of the Rattanakosin Bicentennial Celebration. H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana, Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra was the founding Chairman, while Princess Prem Purachatra was the founding coordinator who helped to collaborate with ten non-governmental organizations, namely 1) The National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand, 2) Thai National Council of Women of Thailand, 3)National Council of Young Buddhists Association, 4) The Congress of Parent and Teacher Associations of Thailand, 5) National Scout Association of Thailand, 6) Secretary Office of the Teachers’ Council of Thailand, 7) League of Foundations of Thailand under The Royal Patronage of H.M. The King, 8) The Buddhist Association of Thailand, 9) Luksua-Chaoban Operation Center Under the Royal Patronage and 10) Village Scout Club of Bangkok . Princess Prem Purachatra and these NGOs were pivotal in the successful setup of the Foundation. In order to show respect and gratitude to all the Kings of Thailand and our ancestors who have lost their lives for the sake of the country, the Foundation’s mission is to develop and improve the livelihoods of all less fortunate youths inThailand, by consistently providing education scholarships for academic and moral purposes. In this way, these Thai youths could grow up to become competent citizens who will continue develop the country, function well in the society (public-minded), loyal to the country and religion and the King. Such fine qualities should be passed on from generation to generation and should become an integral part of the mindset of Thai youths today. The Committee of the Rattanakosin Bicentennial Celebration, with the Prime Minister as the Chairman, has assigned the Interior Ministry and the Education Ministry to oversea these important tasks. H.R.H. Princess Mahachakri Sirindhorn is the Honorary Chairman of Advisory Committee of the Foundation. The late H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana, Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra was the Hon. Chairman of Central Committee. And H.H. Princess Vimalachatra 3nd Chairman of the Central Committee and Chairman of the Executive Committee, following the death of the previous Chairman of the Executive Committee H.H. Princess Sudasirisobha in 1998.

About the work of the Foundation
	The Foundation gives priority to the feelings of young people, with the aim of making them feel secure, have a sense of purpose, and steering them away from depression or discouragement, disparagement. Thus each scholarship fund has an identifiable donor. In turn, the Foundation continuously provides information of the scholarship recipients to the donor, whether the decision of the Board throughout the selection process, the examination results and other achievements of the scholarship recipients in each academic year. The young person is given the name of the scholarship sponsor and is taught to appreciate the value of giving and loving kindness, and is encouraged to make connection with the sponsors through writing letters and cards on auspicious occasions. While the Governor of each province is the Chairman of the Provincial Committee, the Governor's wife is Chairman of the Provincial Consultative Committee for the grantees. Given this role, the governors’ wives pay visits and follow up on the well being of the grantees. They help to find solutions to any problems that may arise in a timely manner. In form of support helps the underprivileged children to feel secure, know that they are not alone, and to strengthen family unit which in turns reduce the problem of drug addiction. The Foundation offers this support to underprivileged Thai youths who show good record of behaviour and are likely to become competent citizens who will continue develop the country, function well in the society (public-minded), loyal to the country and religion and the King. The Foundation has a mission to develop underprivileged Thai youths at all ages through consistently distributing scholarships for moral education of Thai youths to all districts. There are currently around 3,000 such scholarships each year, amounting to 7 million Baht. Since its inception, the Foundation has given more than 24,046 scholarships for moral education, with the total budget of 153.5 million Baht. In addition, the Foundation has received donations from various activities on special occasions to commemorate the King and to contribute to the King’s charitable causes totaling 114.88 million Baht. On top of this, the Foundation engages in various projects, such as 1. On the auspicious occasion of the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary, the Foundation carried out a project to create a permanent fund for the King to support the academic scholarships for less privileged youth. The revenues from interests accrued have been used to support the academic scholarships since 1996. Until academic year 2009, 75 scholarships have been granted, totaling 1,420,500 baht. During 2009 alone, 46 scholarships were granted, totaling 281,000 baht. 2. On the auspicious occasion of the 84th Birthday Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana, Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra, the Foundation together with the Interior Ministry organized the construction of a building designated for practicing Buddhist teachings, named “ Dhamma Practice Building to Celebrate 84th the Birthday anniversary in the year of B.E. 2550 of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana at Thepprathan Temple, Soi Dao District, Chanthaburi Province. 3. Arrange for Thai youths from all over the country to make educational excursion in Bangkok and surrounding areas. This annual activity is supported by Assumption University to give young Thais the chance to enrich their cultural experience with the aim to foster their attachment to the Thai culture. 4. Arrange for Thai youths from all over the country to be trained in Dhamma regularly for 7-8 days at a time, in honour of the Royal Family at Thepprathan Temple, Soi Dao District, Chanthaburi Province. In the past, the Foundation has organised activities on various auspicious occasions in honour of Their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit and members of the royal family, such as : 1. Organised historical merit making event that is “ the Grand Mahachati sermon for Great Charity ” in honour of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej 80th Birthday Anniversary. The project was in collaboration with the Interior Ministry, Bangkok Metropolitan, and Office of the National Buddhism and provinces around the country. The merit making activity took place over 4 days in Bangkok and was granted by the Royal Family to take place at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the Royal Palace. Five members of the Royal Family presided over the occasion during the event. Over 39 million baht was raised which was bestowed to H.R.M. the King Bhumibol Adulyadej for charitable causes of H.R.M. the King’s choice at the Chitrlada Pala 2. Arranged for the publication of over 600,000 copies of “ The Most Grateful King ” to distribute to Thai subjects all over the country. The aim is to publicise another aspect of the H.R.M. the King as a loving son through the beautiful gestures of H.R.M. the King to H.R.H. the Princess Mother. To help reinforce and inspire Thai youth today of their duties to their parents as good sons and daughters – a building block for solid family institution and a solid nation the future. 3. On the auspicious occasion of the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary and H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana, Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra’s 84th Birthday Anniversary, the Foundation and the M.L. Maniratana Bunnag Dhamma Society Fund under the Patronage of the His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara The Supreme Patriarch of Thailand (the pioneer of the publication of the 40-volume World Tipitaka Edition in Roman script, collaborated in the Princess Galyani Vadhana's Tipitaka Endowment Fund Project 2007-2009 with the aim to present the World Tipitaka to institutes around the world, following the footstep of King Rama the IV who presented the Tipitaka in Siam Script to institutions around the world in the last century. (For more information, please go to website : www.worldtipitaka.org) 4. Ordained young monks who received scholarships from Ruamchit Normklao Foundation for 15 days. Young Buddhists from all over the country were ordained at Phra Prathom Jedi, Nakhon Pathom province. This activity allows young Buddhists to be educated in the dhamma in honour of Ruamchit Normklao Foundation’s patron, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 72nd Anniversary. 5. Organised “Tod Pa Pah” ceremony (funding raising activity) for Phra Prathom Jedi, Nakhon Pathom province, in honour of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother. 6. Funded a construction of a school building for young monks at Wat Prasitdhammasarn, Nongrua District, Khon Kaen province, in honour of the 48th Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Mahachakri Sirindhorn, the Honorary Chairman of Advisory Committee. Forms of Support by the Foundation
	1. Permanent scholarship funds in the names of donors : This refers to scholarships that are funded from the interestaccrued from the donations of donors for education purpose. Each scholarship is funded by the interest accrued from the donation of a single donor. Once the Thai youth who received the scholarship has completed his/her study, the Foundation will select another Thai youth to replace him, with the following conditions : a. Primary school education for young monks (monks) : receives a total amount of 70,000 Baht per personor per monk (i.e. annual scholarship of 2,000 Baht per person) b. Secondary school and vocational school education : receives a total amount of 100,000 Baht per person (i.e. annual scholarship of 3,000 Baht per person) c. University bachelor degree : receives a total amount of 235,000 Baht per person (i.e. annual scholarship of 7,000 Baht per person) Note : Should the interest rate increases the Foundation will arrange for more Thai youths to receive scholarships to match the increase. 2. Annual fund : This refers to funding for the young Thais annually until he/she completes his/her study at each education level, as follows : 2.1 Primary school education : receives 2,000 Baht per year, for a maximum of 5 years (Prathom 2-6) totalling 10,000 Baht per person 2.2 Secondary school education : receives 3,000 Baht per year, for 6 years (Mathayom 1-6) totalling 18,000 Baht per person 2.3 Vocational school education : receives 3,000 Baht per year, for 3 years (ปวช.1- ปวช.3) totalling 9,000 Baht per person 2.4 University education : receives 7,000 Baht per year, for 4 years (Year 1-4) totalling 28,000 Baht per person 2.5 Secondary school education for young monks (monks) : receives 2,000 Baht per year, for a maximum of 3 years (Mathayom 1-3) totalling 6,000 Baht per monk 2.6 Short vocational 1-year course : receives 3,000 Baht per person 2.7 Primary school to University education : total funding per person is 56,000 Baht 3. Permanent scholarship fund for His Majesty the King : Donors make contribution to this fund, and only the interest accrued from the fund will be used to provide education scholarships when requested by the Office of His Majesty’s Principal Private Secretary to help those in need.
